The project is based on the concepts of “Displacement” & “Distortion”. Linear structures, designed from the observation of highways night images (which captures the movement of vehicles through the light) and transition elements, designed to diminish the abrupt light-shadow condition made by the tunnels, are used to represent the ideas.
Dynamic and interesting areas, related to culture, education, art, knowledge and research of renewable energy, are created as places of attraction to promote the use of the park. The design stimulates cycling and walking. Taking into account the length of the trail, a solar train is offered, with stations in different places, allowing vehicular access only to the parking areas to encourage the advent of tourism.
Sustainable resources such as solar panels, which provide power to the internal stores and transport, sustainable materials, etc., will help merge the existent highway with the beauty of the landscape, making a new atmosphere.
