The bike path’s tunnels are proposed to be equipped with motion activated LCD-screens on the walls facing the coastline. A live view of the exterior environment will be transmitted by video cameras located along the hill slopes. Electrical energy will be generated by parabolic solar mirrors, which also are intended to symbolize the highway as a cutting edge technology project. The roadsides are proposed to be landscaped, both for environment and as a safety barrier. The cost of implementing phase one is minimal with the exception of tunnel LCD screens. The light rail line, proposed as a second phase, would be powered by electricity generated by solar panels on canopies at stations (with supplementary windmills reminiscent of a row of Greek columns). The train is designed as detachable modules, which can function as independent electrical cars. The relatively even level highway lends itself to a cost-effective rail track solution.
