| The project is part of a much wider scheme of extension and alteration of an existing camping site within a holiday village offering sleeping accommodation for approximately 350 people.
The project involves the fitting out only of areas designated for recreational and cafeteria use. The area concerned, triangular shaped, covers 4.800 square meters and comprises an open-air swimming pool, a discotheque/theatre, green rest areas.
All these new structures stand on a large elevated platform 60cm higher than the surrounding ground. The whole compositional structure revolves around a vertical element: the tower, 12 metres high, a steel frame with corten panels, which accommodates the DJ station and the lighting equipment for the night shows. |
