| mercator 2, part of the mercator technology & science park, offers a business location for ict businesses. for the design a new office structure was created based on the demands of an ict-user. the stabilisation core and facilities have been placed at the south side, which makes it also function as a buffer for the heating influence of the sun and keeps the rest of the floor space as wide as possible. the north side is made of glass and the east, west and south side are made of glass and aliminium plates. the horizontal lamellas on the windows minimise the glare effects on the computer screens, while the day light insertion and the view to the outside stays optimal. |
