mister and misses deys, now about the age of 70 years, wanted a practical villa in which they could live until it was impossible to live independently. by letting the roof and side façades (on the east and west side) be clothed with plants, it looks like the three volumes were pushed out of the landscape. the programmatic parts of living are concentrated around the swimming pool and blend spaciously into each other. in technical way, domotica makes sure that the inhabitants can be self-supporting for a long time. the lamella façade modules are high-tech sunscreens, which can be opened, just as the sliding doors behind them, electronically by remote control. |
