| This is not about decoration; it is all about enhancement of renewable energies and a commitment with the values of existing landscape.There will be four types of modules distributed along each viaduct, 2 FV Solar modules and 2 Green Screen Modules as well as some modules distributed within the surrounding territory. Each module consists of a recycled curved steel skeleton formed by galvanized hollow structural tubes and a wire mesh or thin film PV. There will be almost no need for maintenance. Each module will be joined to a metallic rolling system formed from bearings in turn connected to a steel rail anchored with a high strength two part adhesive epoxy to the viaduct lateral concrete surface. These modules will move along the horizontal rail to different positions where they can be exposed to more solar radiation according to a digitally controlled parametric system that will integrate all the project functions.The estimated provisional cost of the project is 34 207 000 €. |
