| The viaducts will be part of an integrated non-discontinuous renewable energy network and they will become ever-changing living structures affected by the wind and sun parameters which will determine their physical and visual appearance Instead of consuming land we respect the environment and use the viaducts themselves to install new technologies and attach movable Solar and Green Screen Modules which could coexist and merge with the existing landscape.The objectives behind the proposal are to generate and to test new renewable energies which, in turn, will produce future energy along the Solar Park South as well as to create a new Living Landscape that will enrich the aesthetic qualities and will attract tourism. Economy is a critical issue so, like Theo Jansen wind powered Walking Kinetic sculptures, the screens will move according to the sun position and the wind intensity.The project use a parametric system to control and distribute resources where needed into the network. |
