i. Surgically core and dice the irreparable concrete elements of the A3 highway for reuse as sculptural pieces and gabioned jetty and seawall construction in local seaside towns. Coring of hollows ensures that when pieces are immersed in seawater, there are greater surface area and hollows, promoting the creation of new marine breeding and feeding habitats for sealife.
ii. Reuse the best cut-out elements for as structural terracing and sealing of the disused tunnels...thus provide new alternative pathways on natural terrain.
iii. Regenerate disturbed areas and trail edges with native plants and wildflowers, and connect these with a new overland tourism adventure hiking trail.
iv. Build linear viewing points on reused infrastructures at key scenic points on the adventure trail.
v.Remove old barriers, installing new balustrades, shade structure, and solar-regenerating panels that produce power for night-time lights for maximum visitor enjoyment and safety.
