This project pursues energy self-sustainability in addition to economical one. Inside the galleries a part of the section will be used to produce geothermal power energy, while electricity production on viaducts will be assigned to photovoltaic elements. It will be possible to enter the park by motor vehicles from north carriageway in divestment through connections and parking areas built in the stretch of galleries. Pedestrian access will take place from the axle of highway 18 on the coast, which is meant to be strenghtened with regard to present practicability (motor vehicles + railway) creating pedestrian and cycle ways by a system of paths which, through the valleys, will lead to viaducts that can be reached by elevators built inside the piers.
