| The park uses some of the up to date technologies in the fields of construction, natural and artificial lighting (LED and optical fibers technology) and encompasses a wide range of 1000 plants and 100 small tree species, to promote the study and research that aim to become its central core of activities. The general structure includes buildings of multiple usage hanged underneath the bridges, a pedestrian/cyclists’ network, car park area, water supply and irrigation installations, along with a special system for the natural lighting of the tunnels. The placement of large photovoltaic systems along the park for the electrical supply of the park as well as the peripheral villages-settlements, also provides shade for the pedestrians and the bicyclers, thus remaining invisible from the public eye. Also, small Wind generators are placed in the “Park of wind” and hydro turbines in the “Park of Water”. The approximate Cost of its constraction comes up to 30.000.000 €. |
