| the agency of r&sie…architecture is a critical production tool.
it’s something about hyper-localism, about freaks hybridisation, very far of a meaning of an attitude on the macrostructure, but ‘right here, right now’. this implication in immediacy, the simultaneity of appearance perceptions allow them to escape any mental or metaphorical projective inclination on the global system. it does act as a link with micro structure, whose implication is born out of the analysis of each situation.
f. roche attempts to refrain from radically modifying the territory, seeking a form of dialogue with it. he is currently undertaking a critical experiment with new warping technologies to prompt architectural ‘scenarios’ of cartographic distortion, substitution, and genetic territorial mutations. invited to last three venice architecture biennial, f. roche this year is invited professor at the tu / vienna. |
