David Vecchi (Palestrina, 1985) graduated from Sapienza in Rome and gained professional experience working for Guillermo Vazquez Consuegra in Seville in 2014 and Ricardo Bak Gordon in Lisbon in 2015. He has been former founder of ULTRA Architettura and Ravagnani Vecchi. Over the years, together with his teams, he gained awards such as the first prize for Europan 12 and the second prize for Kunstilo Art Museum in Kristiansand; in 2014 he participated in 14th Venice Biennale, in 2015 he was Selected by Casabella magazine for Maggia Prize as one of the 10 best architecture practices under 30 in Italy and in February 2018 he was invited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) to take part in EUROPA - Connecting Ideas Across Borders, an interesting series of talks between emerging architectural practices from Europe.
