COBE is an architecture office based in Copenhagen and Berlin, founded in 2005. COBE’s main focus is urban matters in complex situations. Our profession spans from the physical realization of architectural design to the research dimension of strategic urban planning. COBE has collaborated with a number of innovative companies such as MVRDV (NL), Arup (UK), and Adams Kara Taylor (UK). COBE’s ambition is to develop a sensitive and innovative solution for each specific assignment. We strongly advocate teamwork and believe in the interdisciplinary cooperation with other professions. In our practice, clients, users and specialists are therefore involved at an early stage in the design process. The product of this approach is new insights that foster highly specific solutions. COBE currently has a staff of 13 dedicated people and is led by the two young architects Dan Stubbergaard and Vanessa Miriam Carlow.
