2012Architecten is an office that utilises the contextual potential for design. A design is not considered as the beginning of a linear process but as a phase in a continuous cycle of creation and recreation, use and reuse of materials. The latent properties of used materials and products offer an added value to new products and buildings. This concept can be applied to physical objects as well as to energy, human resources, food and water.
2012Architecten is founded in 1997 by Jan Jongert and Césare Peeren in 1997. In 2006 Jeroen Bergsma completed the team with his experience.
