The project is inspired with the typical iconographic local peculiarities: sand dunes, created in the basement; the pine wood, extended on the city side; the "Rimini Grand Hotel", symbolic and hystorical reference for comfort and luxury, recalled in the big white screen of the shutters facade. The building is a block of apartment located on the northeast side of the lot. The view on the sea is ensured for all the units trough a deep loggia between the windows and the shutters. On the other side the glass facade composed by adjustable glass plates creates a greenhouse climatic system, integrating the residential heating in the winter and cooling the apartments with the stack effect in the summer. At the bottom of the building an artificial dune connects the "lungomare" promenade with the urban commercial street in a picturesque path allowing to the double height residential entrance hall.
