The permeable structure of the freedom and unity memorial in Berlin makes its visitors a present part of its´ expressiveness. As if time itself wrote into the cube of translucent concrete, leaving imprints and fragments of historic events and changes. Although the actual form manifests a current state, it also proclaims future changes and new movements.
