DAY-NIGHT lamp materialise the possibility of using endless solar energy and forming an independent source of light. Minimalist design of the lamp, reduced to a symbol or a sign, emphasise its basic function. DAY_NIGHT is a solar lamp that charges during the day through integrated PV cells and powers LED diodes that produce light at night. LED diodes are energy-efficient sources of light, require very little energy that is “harvested” by PV cells, which are positioned to capture light. In this manner, the lamp is energy-independent and uses 0 (zero) conventional energy. LED diodes as power efficient bulbs require a small quantity of energy provided by PV cells, oriented towards bigger interior glass surfaces or exposed to the sunlight on the terrace, atrium or yard.
