Westonbirt Festival of the Garden - selected
The project transforms an open ditch, better known by the name of ‘ha-ha’ during the 18th century, into a space of contemplation and commermoration. Edible plants and recycled rubber create a parallel pattern that bring to the ha-ha wall where 57 suspended cowbells ring to give hommage to the thousands of cows lost to the disesase. The new ha-ha underlines the importance of returning to more natural methods of farming and exposes the simplicity of grazing.
