My vision introduces a dialect between a person taking poignant view at the world and assessing their position, in contrast to possibly being in an enclosed space due to environmental chaos.
Through the use of hydraulics, pressure sensors and a raised floor system, the space transforms to a self sustaining shelter. The transformation relies on a slate wall in front of the waterfall, which is the indicating factor of transforming from a meditation space to a Fall-out shelter. As the environmental factors become greater, the slate wall moves downward allowing a greater flow of water measured by pressure sensors which allow the walls and floors to descend in concordance. The collaboration of the people in the same location involves the utilization of the environment with technology. Moreover, it bridges the gap between the physical and digital worlds. May the space redefine the term "multi-use” and create a more environmentally conscious and exemplary community for the world to follow.
