The intersection between two tracks represents a symbolic crux for the city; it is the place where the public structures (such as the city hall, theatres, schools, stadiums, museums, parks etc.) will be built. The inner organization of every track follows the “multi-purpose” idea, based on the contact and the connection between residential and commercial buildings, between private and public life. The width of each track will be occupied for 1/3 by driveways, embellished by street furniture, and the other 2/3 by multilevel buildings. In the first two floors of each building there will be commercial rooms and offices, while the other four levels are reserved to residential flats, easily reached from outdoor pedestrian paths, built along the driveways. None of the tracks has structural continuity; they are planned as a sort of shell that allows the construction of a pipe for air circulation.
