is an experiment employing time-based narratives and vrml. this project attempts to uncover new spatial characterizations through linear and non-linear spatial descriptions by allowing users to become producers in the iterative dialog itself.
an initial narrative is provided as a catalyst for response. a kaleidoscopic scene, sensitive to user's movements, oscillates between various states of transparency, alignment and connectedness. the resulting experience being unique to each viewer. traces of user's thoughts and activities imbue *-scope with a character that over time can develop a palimpsest such that this instrument can be known.
