| To make a structure of this nature each sprout is going to comprise of 10 single piece glass elements which will be designed to make the sprout behave like an arch. Steel is going to be used to a minimum as in large structural glass buildings. There may be variations in design so that each small sprout bifurcates with steel connections in between so as to increase strength. Space between two carriage ways will be modified to provide for parking, entry etc. The frame supporting the structure in images is just to give an idea. Based on real-time conditions, the supporting structure may vary. The cost of overall project can be roughly estimated to be 10-15 million euros. |
