The linear nature of the site is used to create a journey that builds understanding from back-to-basics physics. The perpetual presence of energy is demonstrated as visitors move along its length by attractions exaggerating moments of energy transfer to a spectacular scale in the dramatic physical context of the highway.
Demonstrating the underlying physical principles of energy generation, we have proposed 8 ‘First Principles’ demonstration zones. In each zone the proposals provide a test ground for experimentation in the ‘Future Potentials’ of sustainable energy generation. Scientists from around the world are invited to research and develop new energy futures from these first principles, positioning Solar Park South at the forefront of energy generation development.
