The CPR Project will stimulate responsible tourism and create different activities that demand energy. It will also provide the spaces for testing its production using renewable sources. Using existing infrastructure is essential for the project. With this in mind, the main building for scientific research for new sustainable technologies, manufacturing and management, will be developed under the Favazzina viaduct. This will avoid covering more land than is already consumed and will strategically be in the middle of the project for energy supply. The building, as well as all the viaduct's pillars and the first 1.6 km of the course will provide vertical gardens dedicated to local agriculture products, pursuing landscape integration and economic self sustainability. Provisional cost for the project is estimated in 32 million Euros. Anthropologically, the project is intended to promote cultural identity and expand its economic, social, and educational importance in a sustainable manner.
