BESIDES PRODUCING ENERGY, THE SOLAR PANELS, GROUPED IN THE GREEN LANDSCAPE, WOULD RESEMBLE FIELDS OF COLOURFUL BUTTERFLIES, MERGING WITH THE NATURAL SETTING, ACTING AS A LARGE SCALE PUBLIC-ART PROJECT AND PROVIDING A MORE PLEASANT ENVIRONMENT. A TYPICAL SOLAR PANEL WILL GENERATE 50 KWH/DAY OF ELECTRICITY, SUFFICIENT TO POWER ABOUT 15 HOMES, FOR A COST OF $100,000. THE WIND TURBINES, 30 METERS HIGH, WILL PRODUCE 83 KWH/DAY, POWER 25 HOMES PER DAY, AT A COST OF $36,000 EACH. APPROXIMATELY $48 MILLION WILL BE SAVED BY KEEPING THESE EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURES. THIS TRANSLATES IN THE OPPORTUNITY TO ERECT 400 SOLAR PANELS AND 220 WIND TURBINES, ENOUGH TO POWER MORE THAN 11,000 HOMES EVERY DAY. APART FROM THE CLEAR ADVANTAGES OF HAVING THESE RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATORS, THE PARK WILL WORK AS A CATALYST FOR THE WHOLE REGION, INFORMING THE PUBLIC ABOUT THESE INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS, WHILE ALSO CREATING A UNIQUE CULTURAL DESTINATION, WHERE TECHNOLOGY, NATURE AND ART WOULD COEXIST IN A PERFECT BALANCE
