The available budget builds new connections up to & across viaducts, massaged into the landscape. New intersections offer venue for forums, content provided by surroundings. The 10km experience is a UV-shaded and planted path, branching into alternate informal and scenic walkways. Self-propelled mobility is encouraged, yet electric-powered personal transport finds a home here; testing grounds for researchers, convenience for visitors. This foundation invites future scheme maturity through open source contribution. A tunnel-based power plant [3] is bolstered by a connected network of farm microgeneration, allowing farmer 'buy-in' to the system, limiting cost & leading to empowerment. Desalinated wastewaters stymie drought. Production, morale, economics improve. Microgeneration experiments are discussed at 'forum' intersections. Others allow hardware sharing for prototyping and testing. Forums open to all. Innovation germinates. Locals plug-in, tourists marvel, Calabria rises. |
