variety of different renewable energy sources to reduce carbon emissions, and achieve the least amount of environmental impact on Reggio Calabria. Our methods include solar energy collection through the use of photovoltaic cell arrays, innovative helical wind turbines with decreased sound emissions, the implementation of green space and vegetation throughout the span of the ten kilometer site for returning oxygen to the atmosphere, and the promotion of low-emission transportation methods such as electric fueling stations and bike paths. This design aims to integrate and unify transportation along the Calabrian coastline. Continuous paths link a series of nodes, such as fueling stations, picnic areas, and rest stops, thus creating a unified connection element between Scilla and Bagnara. One of the carriageways is to be implemented with new, innovative sustainable solutions. The other carriageway is to remain intact |
