NÓMENA is an architecture studio established in Peru in 2006. It has been successfully engaged on a wide range of design and research projects, becoming one of the most relevant studios of young architects in Latin America. Their projects have earned numerous awards, both locally and abroad. Among those a First Place on the XIV Peruvian Architecture Biennial, and a Design Mention on the XVII Quito Pan American Biennial. In 2010 they published "ConPosiciones: 20 Approaches to Peruvian Architecture". The book synthesizes four years of conversations with renowned Peruvian Architects and was selected at the VIII Cadiz Ibero-American Architecture Biennial. In 2012 NÓMENA was part of a team of 21 architects which for the first time represented Peru at the Venice International Architecture Biennial.
