The idea for a restaurant to serve its guests not just high quality meals, but genuinely authentic food coming directly from local village farmers, inspired the architectural approach. In fact the project translates the genius loci from the traditional farmer’s houses in the nearby village. The new house is divided into two smaller radical volumes, the “firehouse” built in stone and the “feedhouse” built in wood. The symbiosis of external and internal architecture, furniture, lighting, eating and drinking invites every guest on a genuine journey through the essence of the South Tyrol region.
