The USB Stick that Luca Nichetto has designed for Offecct is the result of the Swedish company’s request for a means of disseminating information about its new products. This USB memory key recalls the classic business card in both its form and its dimensions. The object was inspired by Nichetto’s experience with business culture in Japan, where it is customary to introduce oneself to a new acquaintance first by offering one’s business card, even before shaking hands. USB Stick thus represents a means of communication, for it performs the same function as a business card proffered upon meeting someone new.
