the civic area of karlskrona is to be radically transformed by this new habitat; the industriscape will be dotted with new buildings which will extend the landscape into the skyline. the project creates a networked green zone by extending the two existing green spaces into the redevelopment of the site and sculpting this new landscape into the core of the buildings. the routes of the new network become our buildings and the extension of the landscape circulates through the courtyards up to the topmost apartments. the proposal essentially takes a series of terraced houses and their private gardens and simply spirals them into to a box filled with complex series of routes.
