We have detected five main organic diseases currently affecting the body of Bologna, proposing for each of them a micro-surgical intervention carried out through various non-invasive techniques. We think this can be a significant approach aimed at healing and remove those that currently constitute the greatest obstacles to a contemporary alliance between urban and country, in short to the birth of new ruralcity. For each of the identified "urban illness”, we propose a treatment strategy associated to a strictly localized and limited action, considering that each operation has to be repeated over and over again for every “point of affection” across the area, so to activate a massive system of diffused curative measures. This way proceeding, different clouds of curative spots are put on urban and rural territories, promoting a global action of slow but progressive urban awakening.
