In the immediate vicinity of the monastery Krems-Stein, the Forum Frohner, which is also part of the Kunstmeile Krems, displays contemporary art. As requested by the artist Adolf Frohner, to whom the museum is dedicated to, the exhibition space is free from everything unnecessary. Following this concept of the “white box” and the puristic teaching of the Minorit order, the only three materials, besides the slightly offset white exhibition walls are concrete, terrazzo and the light grey and sound-absorbent wood wool plates.
