Europan 10 site in Zagreb was a wide sector between two bridges on the southern board of river Sava. The requirement for commercial and business functions and the explicit invitation to think about an ideal new southern gate to the city stimulated a debate on the concept of landmark. Instead of focusing on the big size and the high rise to obtain a strong visual impact we insert the same functions in a dense and articulated fabric. Addressing attention and human presence on the ground floor level had the aim to search a dialogue with the surrounding settlement, strongly needing a downtown-like situation to communicate with.
