Introducing order and harmony into design area was our main concern with this project. From an analysis of area's functional and spatial features arises decision to take up a subtle dialogue with existing historic urban tissue of Skarpa Warszawska using both form and detail. Flanked by Museum's monolithic blocks from north and south and closed with existing Ujazdowski Castle on the east side the square becomes an urban theatre of various events and ceremonies. The scheme following historical layout of XVIII century officines is layed out on 5 x 5 meter grid. Modifying module allowed not only to obtain optimal lighting but also created an attractive tour path complemented by recreation areas.
