Poland, Lublin-Świdnik - second prize
The New Terminal’s architectural form was inspired by power of nature-wind. The aim was to achieve light and simple construction. The original formed roof would be the first form recognized by aircraft passengers visiting Lublin. The Lublin Airport is located in green areas and nearby the forest that is why we used timber construction and semi translucent roof covering to emphasize the local context.
