Malta Lake is the artificial lake. On Malta regatta lanes take place international rowing competition. Malta is situated in the middle of the town so it is also the biggest and most popular recreation area. On the paths surrounding the lake people walk, jog, skate and ride bikes. There are many concerts and events every day. Malta is a huge loop, all the time in movement. We wanted to design the object in a way not to destroy the above-mentioned path, nor the trees. This is how the building in function of a “green” bridge was created. Under the bridge we have designed the café and restaurant with wonderful view on the lake. On the bridge there is the grass, slabs and also old path for jogs and walkers.
