75%-25% STOOL
Belgrade - first prize
“We made a chair that should function as a small stool with low and twisted back. The chair is supposed to be used as for casual sitting at coffee shops, clubs, galleries … It is easy, minimal dimensions and adjustable to the different spontaneous positions of the body. The materialisation is the reaction on uncontrolled consumerism of natural recourses and increasing of waste in our environment, on one side and the other is actual eco - dilemma : wood or plastic. Chair is a blend of wood / most represented natural material in production, which is decreasing / and recycled plastic / the most represented artificial material with increasing waste /. The sitting part is made of wood / ~ 75% / and twisted back is made of recycled plastic / ~ 25 % /. > Projected wood terrain of Serbia is 42 percent, while today it is less than 30 percent.
