Context is both matrix and inspiration, but also, intentionally, a pretext. The historical and layered condition of this public spaces (the former center of the little city) is constantly under threat today. The purpose of a pedestrian hardlandscaped, stonefloored platform has not denied the cars, but it just slow down them. Even if the place has evident dimensional constraints, materials, fountain, sloped ramps and stony stairs give a sense of “classic” or permanence. A diffused mysterious pink colour reflects and pervades all around. The backgound become figure, common colors of existing buildings have now new dignity. The design strategy emerge through dialogue wich we text and explore at different scale simultaneously in order to link the “idea” with the “making” of the detail.
