The design of the Dyck Field with it's link to the historical castle park were subject for the state garden fair competition in 2000. Large areas planted with Miscanthus form the spatial structure of the former farmland, stretching over 24 ha. Straight lines made of large format concrete slabs reinforce the visual axes. 24 garden spaces are located within the china reeds. During the course of the vegetation period the spatial structure and effect is changing. The gardens designed by RMP are for example: 'Heron's Grove', 'The Blue Garden', 'The Plantwork Orange'', The White Garden'. Playgrounds, an amphitheatre, field pavilions and a center piece of artwork had to be integrated.
