Keith Williams Architects has been appointed to design the new 7,200 sqm Festival Opera House working alongside the OPW Architects (Office of Public Works) in Dublin. The prestigious new building for the world famous Irish opera festival, is being constructed in the heart of the medieval town and will contain the main opera house with flytower (750 seats) and a transformable second space 190 seats, together with rehearsal, production facilities, bars, café and foyer spaces. The building and will open for the 2008 autumn season.
