INCLUSIVE HABITATS
Amsterdam - finalist
Inclusive Habitats is a research project that we conducted being selected between four finalist teams in the international competition "AM I Included?", banned by the Dutch Area and property developer AM in order to generate innovative concepts that shed new light on the ideas behind the inclusive city. Our vision sees the inclusive city as a process that includes a wide variety of citizens and activities. The inclusive city resides in the rediscovery of the human scale and the architectural variety, as well as on social strategies, as a primary guide in architectural and urban planning. The inclusive city should therefore concern all the scales of intervention.
