Neza 2050 - where it all started
The strategy for the project is to detect common characteristics of informal urbanism on a global scale and to implement this data in a general model to enable secured growth with a minimum of planning input:
A.The given grid of informal areas is the key of all subsequent growth in future.
B.The implant units (nodes) will be put on some low quality estates. It will both imply a hub providing tools to reinforce surrounding structures for a higher utilization and a skeleton for development and community uses.
C.The evolving structure will enable maximum flexibility for the different needs of future residents.
D.According to individual requirements different growth patterns will appear. The growth above the limited level depends on the means of reinforcements people apply in their homes to create superior spaces. The variety of available living space increases and informal economics can occur enabling urban transformation.A general design principle lies in the hands of the residents.
