Parking lots prevent the population density necessary to form a palpable and robust community center. Furthermore, public spaces are segregated by streets making it more conducive to travel one block in the reclusion of a car. My solution is to interconnect the city’s currently excessive interstices of parking with raised pathways and recreational green space while preserving sufficient parking below. Conceptually removing streets from the city, public spaces will flow uninhibitedly into chance unions that can create surprisingly organic spaces, despite previous restriction. Now, inserting all building typologies suggested, at the "December 2007 meeting" as prerequisite for community, will create a focus that will inherently possess the programs and tools for the continual amenity of any person. Existing buildings will be given the option and specific guidelines for reciprocal adaption into this symbiotic community.
