| The Net represents the superstructure, the connective tissue which becoming part of the existing context starts the new space and relations system. The Net so becomes the means of access to the new installed urban elements. Therefore it’s above all an alternative system of run which, in its articulating, connects and relates the new functions coming from the program. The function layout and the consequent development of the net articulates from the need of uniformity of distribution in the area and from the aim to avoid zoning looking for proximity among live, work, leisure. The contingent conditions depending on the characteristics of the blocks cause locally the settings of the new urban elements. Depending on density, shape, and existing functions, the new projected spaces enter creating new relationships and centrality to the different scales and in the different ambits of intervention considered. |
