The dense greenery,
The transparent veins of leaves, The affluent of colors, The skin-stroking breeze, The moist smell on the greens, The drips and dews from the leaves, The chirping birds, The stretching feline, The sound of innocent laughter, The smile-inviting clouds that float by, I smile back and drink a cup of coffee. These ideal scenes of everyday life were the potential byproducts of the greenery wall. Turn over the structure of the town block and the public sidewalk of a generic suburb. Thus to transform public space to common space, I create greenery arcade in the center of the block. Because the arcade was gently connected to each house, everyone was aware of the town existence, and it represented the core factor in the community. This “greenery wall” is not a border that divides, but one that connects. |
