SkyScape
The plan for Everyville's development starts in a small retail zone, as we believe the idea should not be too forced, but built on little by little by the community. Proposal for Initial Step - First focus on developing a retail center with elements of the SkyScape, since its semi-public usage accommodates wide range of residents. - The retail center is recommended to be low in height, allowing easy access from ground level. Its low height will also display the unique SkyScape views for the adjacent offices and residential towers. - Parking garage is provided as a transitional hub between vehicular and pedestrian traffic; it provides an endpoint for the more “robotic” atmosphere of movement, and an entry point to the SkyScape, where face-to-face interactions are encouraged. - Connections can be made to lower lobby of high-rise building, or the rooftop unit of lower buildings. |
