Ex-novo ”X,Y,Z” onset promotes every technical and functional issues: it's self-sufficient in supply and energy, with a inner circle-recycling system for resourses.
The energy production compensates for possible shortage of outside raw materials. The transport system (TS³) is efficiently organized onto the three axes. It poses rapid and heavy movements at the edges and retains slight movements inside. This results in two benefits: removal of transport infrastructure footprint and avoid private vehicles use, in order to ensure interplay between citizens within urban flows. Both interaction between people and development of a common sense of identity are encouraged by sharing a well-defined space -designed as one km³- and by visual and spatial continuity of hybrid program activities contained therein. They all are the foundation for a community spontaneously fostered, subsidised again by the economy and cradled again by the city: The Community³. |
