Onesquare is a public multi-purpose open space with town services settled inside its volume.
Designed with common square components like the tower, the staircase and the fountain, Onesquare set a link between its surface and the inner rooms.
Facing south, the bow sloping roof cover the administrative offices(400m2) and the shopping mall (2000m2). The south facade has openings and driveway, the bow facade with shops is glazed and the upper floor overhung over the square. This volume climax to the tower, a 33m high sharp landmark: afternoon shadow for the bars and the staircase, big screen for public projection.
The staircase is carved over the auditorium (1100m2) that emerge by the north-east corner. In the same volume, beside the auditorium for town-meeting and shows, the rooms for temporary exhibition (1000m2) , the bigger one enlighten by the hole in the fountain above.
Under the square there’s an underground car parking (5000m2).
